We always hope that our geriatric or ailing pets will be able to pass on after a long, happy life without any assistance or difficult decisions on our part. Unfortunately, at some point many of us are forced to make the choice to euthanize, simply out of respect for our friend. Euthanasia can be the most loving thing you can do for a pet who is not enjoying a good quality of life.
If pain, loss of appetite, disinterest in playing or interacting with family members, or difficulty with normal bodily functions has become common for your pet, with little hope of improving this condition, a caring pet owner may choose to end the beloved companion’s suffering.
As fellow animal lovers, we feel it is important to make the process of saying good-bye a little easier, when necessary, by providing your pet a gentle transition from this life. Feel free to call us at 828-515-0141 with any questions.
